Podcast Series Development for Rathbones: Inspired Sounds & Financial Planning Unlocked
Rathbones, a renowned UK-based wealth and investment management firm, were looking to engage with their audience in innovative ways to enhance their brand presence and develop thought leadership.
We worked with them to launch several different podcasts, including ‘Inspired Sounds’ - a video podcast series that combines insightful discussions with a focus on inspiring stories relating to personal and professional growth - and ‘Financial Planning Unlocked’, aiming to educate and their audience on all things finance in today’s challenging landscape.
Spotlight on ‘Inspired Sounds’ - Concept & Development
The concept for ‘Inspired Sounds’ was to create a dynamic platform to entertain and educate Rathbone's clients and the broader audience.
Episodes featured interviews with industry leaders and inspiring figures, providing listeners with a variety of perspectives on success, innovation and motivation. This approach was designed to enrich the listener's journey, aligning with their aspirations and financial goals.
Production & Execution
Our team managed all aspects of production, including pre-production planning, recording, and post-production, ensuring each episode met the highest quality standards.
Recording took place at the Rathbones London office, as well as remotely for some guests and on location at their businesses, requiring a flexible and adaptable approach to ensure the output matched the high-reputation and expectations of the client.
We worked closely with a number of high-profile guests, including the founders of JoJo Maman Bébé, Gym Shark, Seep, Absolute Collagen, Better Nature and Hundred Hills Vineyard and more.
The filming of each session allowed for a high-spec visual as well as auditory experience, broadening the series' appeal and accessibility on multiple platforms. Professional audio and video production techniques were employed to produce content that was both engaging and polished, creating a slick and compelling final edit.
Episode Spotlight: ‘Between the Vines’ - Hundred Hills
The inaugural on location episode of Inspired Sounds was filmed at the stunning Hundred Hills Vineyard in Oxfordshire, hosted by Rathbones Senior Investment Director Kartik Rawal interviewing founder Stephen Duckett.
From the outset, our team led a detailed pre-production phase, planning remotely and on site with both key stakeholders from different companies to ensure the location, narrative flow, and technical setup all worked seamlessly together.
The outcome was an engaging video podcast designed to appeal to a wide audience, not just those within the industry but anyone with an interest in business, brands, and inspiring stories of building success. Created to work equally well as an audio-only podcast, the production straddles the line between insight and entertainment, combining high-quality storytelling with accessible, down-to-earth conversations.
The result is a flexible, multi-platform format that extends reach and deepens engagement, helping to position the brand as both credible and relatable.

This initiative has enhanced Rathbones reputation as a thought leader, deepened client engagement and attracted new audiences, demonstrating the effectiveness of high-quality, multimedia content in strengthening brand relationships and achieving some impressive results.
Inspired Sounds reached #1 in the Apple UK Investing Chart and #3 in the overall Business chart, challenging industry goliaths Martin Lewis and Diary of a CEO for the top spot.
