Big Orange Media Project
Overview
We partnered with Corrosion Radar, a global leader in predictive corrosion monitoring technology, to help bring greater clarity and impact to their thought-leadership content. With customers and partners across international energy, industrial and infrastructure sectors, they needed a way to communicate complex technical processes and insights in a format that was both accessible and visually engaging.
To support this objective, we developed a series of four bespoke 2D animated ‘Did You Know?’ videos, each designed to simplify specialist concepts and enhance user understanding. These animations now appear across the Corrosion Radar website, helping visitors, from engineers to decision-makers, quickly grasp how advanced monitoring tools can transform asset integrity management.
The Challenge
Corrosion Radar needed digital content that could:
- Communicate specialist industry knowledge with clarity
- Strengthen brand consistency across web and social channels
- Increase engagement with both technical and non-technical audiences
Our goal was to create animation that felt authoritative yet accessible, mirroring their innovative approach to predictive corrosion monitoring.
Our Approach
1. Kick-off & Creative Direction
We began by aligning on campaign objectives, messaging hierarchy and visual guidelines. This ensured every creative decision supported Corrosion Radar’s brand identity from the outset.
2. Storyboards
Our team developed storyboards for each of the four videos, mapping out structure, pacing and key messages. Two rounds of amends allowed us to refine the narrative and visuals before beginning animation.
3. Proof of Concept
We produced a short POC sequence to showcase movement, transitions and graphic style. This was reviewed and refined to lock in the final look and feel.
4. Full Animation Production
With the creative approach approved, we delivered four polished 2D animated videos. Each piece was built to communicate a single insight in a way that was both visually engaging and technically accurate, complete with voiceovers.
Deliverables
- 4 x animated videos (60–90 seconds each)
- Optimised MP4s for website, social media and wider digital use
- Storyboards + POC with two amend rounds each
- Fully on-brand 2D motion-graphics style
Outcome
Corrosion Radar now has a cohesive, high-impact content series that elevates the ‘Did You Know?’ campaign across their digital ecosystem. The animations help simplify complex topics, support customer understanding, and bring a fresh, modern visual layer to the Corrosion Radar brand.
